See GallicoRM, 50, where he links it to the music of ‘Jam pris amours’ on the basis of its citation in the quodlibet bearing that title in M164-7; see BeccheriniT, 82. Lauda in Gall4 bears heading ‘Lauda della canzone del gufo’, and bears rhyme scheme identical to Giambullari’s carnival song. Lauda probably by Giambullari, because of identity with his secular model, and proximity of the lauda in Gall4 to other laude by Giambullari.
