First off, I would like to thank the Dickinson College Archives. This project would not have been possible without the artifacts that were preserved within your walls. I would like to thank James Gerencser (College Archivist) and especially Malinda Triller Doran (Special Collections Librarian) and Deborah Ege (Reference Assocaite). Malinda, thank you for helping me retrieve all of the artifacts that I asked for throughout this process and Deborah there were so many times that you came to my rescue, especially when it came to finding the Eager Eagle (which was of course hidden in the vault). Thank you both for putting up with my incisive questions and demands and for showing me how passionate one can be about old documents and artifacts. I would also like to thank Ryan Burke for assistance in putting this exhibit together; it would not have been made without your technological help. Lastly I would like to thank Professor Pawley. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to learn and develop my own ideas and thoughts and for showing me just how tangible history really is. This process has been both educational and knowledgeable, and I am honored to have been a part of it.
