note: ‘O lasso amme tapino’ is sometimes the cc., as for ‘Venga ciascun’ in Gall1. Lauda text survives from late trecento sources. A similar incipit, ‘Oime lassa, tapinella’, attr. to S. di Torello, is transmitted in Benedetto Dei’s Croniche, 91v, where he lists 30 “canzone a ballo”; see LuisiMF, 89-90.
