note: cc. is probably a corruption of Giustinian’s widespread ‘Leggiadra damigella’ (see this cc. title for notes), and Ch266 elsewhere transmits the lauda title ‘Assunta in [cielo?] madre di Dio’, with ‘Leggiadra damigella’ as a cc., an indication that ‘O vaga damigella’ & ‘Leggiadra damigella’ probably refer to the same poem, as do both versions of the ‘Assunta’ incipit.

note: cc. is ‘O vaga damigella o signior mio’ (see this cc. incipit), probably a corruption of the pervasive ‘Leggiadra (or Lisadra/Lizadra) damigella’. See FallowsCat, 534-5, where he proposes that the cc. may be same as ‘Lisa dea damisella’ in Q16, 9v-10; ed. BentonF, no.1. CattinR, no.127 links the cc. to a ballo, ‘Ligiadra’. Lauda = ‘Assunta in cielo, madre di Dio’ (w/cc = ‘Leggiadra damigella’). See also FallowsLG, 258, where he argues that the music in Q16 does not suit Giustinian’s poem. Text ed. WieseLG, 263-4, with incipit ‘Lizadra damisela, o segnor mio/el me conven partire/altro segnor servire. State con dio!’; the final line of both refrain and strophe contain an internal rhyme linked to the previous line, which in both cases offsets the concluding phrase of the refrain--’state con dio!’--that concludes each strophe, as well.
