note: D’AnconaPP, 480 proposes that cc. might be ‘Vidila in un giardino ch’ella s’andava’. Text of ‘Maria dolce’ ed. Luisi, i, 306-8 (‘Madre dolce che fay’); it is an older text, found in (probably) pre-15thc. laudarios like BML, Ashburnham 423, fol. 183, and often attributed to Jacopone da Todi.
